I am probably the worst at keeping up with this, but I’m stuck in the middle of already existing schedules and creating new ones. But where to start and what to do is where I’m stuck, maybe I should just pick up the phone and make some calls (that’s actually a great idea). To begin I’m being hired as a youth director (in short) for existing programs and basically trying to enhance and focus on them where no one as specifically been able to do. So we already have programs for the youth each week, and other things which I don’t know at the other places, and then obviously Sunday programs. Now I’m trying to figure out how to grab hold of the ages we don’t already focus on, then try and expand them into larger groups, to be able to make use of them, for instance a college age group would be great here… since there’s so many colleges! But, where to start is killing me, and I’m still new to the area and basically am trying to find interests by merely knowledge, killing me! But, I have some great ideas planned for the youth, and hopefully more for the college groups and older kids, but, again, where to start! So this month I’ll be starting up a website, which I can’t decide if I just want it to be split into age groups, or split into programs, or just one page with updates all over it and calendar and what not! Feedback please! Well, I’ll be heading out, and working on it and figuring out other things to do, so I’ll be back sometime in the future!
